Mercury Deposition in an Urban Area

This project investigates the significance of atmospheric mercury deposition to an urban stream in Orlando . Data are being collected from the atmosphere, precipitation, and the aquatic food chain. The results of this study will help predict the response in both magnitude and timing, of fish mercury concentrations from reduced emissions.  For more information contact Ola Nnadi.

ET Estimation using Remote Sense Data

This project is to develop an easy and direct way of estimating ET. The study will attempt to verify the suitability of existing and modified ET models and to predict ET on heterogeneous areas that have dynamically convective systems in the State of Florida . The results will provide more accuracy in ET mapping and also complement the USGS ET database in Florida .  For more information contact Ola Nnadi at nnadi@mail.ucf.edu.
