LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The lifetime achievement award is given to the individual who has achieved inter-national recognition for stormwater research work spanning over a career.

This year’s award is to Dr. Betty Ruston. Betty is a PhD graduate of UF and for many years pioneered the study of runoff waters for the Southwest Florida Water Management District. She is credited by many for his introduction of water quality measures and controls for stormwater runoff for that District.

We recognize Betty for her excellence and sustainability in stormwater management research.
